Words From John

I’ve been introduced to a spiritual guide called John.
These are his words.

Trust your instinct

Trust your Instinct

Are you willing to let go of all self-control?
Are you willing to surrender to the energy of the universe?
Are you ready to trust a bigger picture than what your mind can create or comprehend?

Are you strong enough to allow your path to unfold? Knowing that your hard work is recognised and your past experiences have lead to the knowledge and learnings which you will use in life moving forward.

How much do you trust in yourself?
How much do you acknowledge the internal strength you have?
How much do you see the love which you give to the world?

How much love do you give your reflection?
How much gratitude do you give yourself, for simply being you?
How much strength and love will it take for you to see your internal beauty?

How long will it take for you to practice self-love?
Importantly, how long will it take before you recognise and trust your inner-self?—Your guide?—Your love?—Your being?

Do not blame others for holding you back.
Do not assign blame, responsibility or ill feelings onto someone.

If you have not recognised the true beauty of yourself to-date, it is because you are on a journey to discover who one is and what it means to love.

Why should you question your foundational beliefs?

foundational beliefs

We never said it would be easy.
It is not.

To question life choices each day is an overwhelming task.
To ask yourself how you got into today’s situation—both the positive and the painful parts of life—is difficult.

To take sole responsibility for one’s life, one’s actions, is something which only the open-minded and the strong can achieve.

We never said it would be easy,
To dive into childhood memories and to ask questions about your foundational beliefs and teachings.

It’s not easy.
To question one’s foundational beliefs—is to question one’s identity.
To question one’s culture—is to question all of those which has surrounded you throughout life.

So why do it?

Bask in the freedom of self-expression

Expression

Artwork is an expression,
Words are an expression,
Music is an expression,
Love is an expression,
Life is an expression.

Many spend life not expressing themselves,
Many spend life living according to the boundaries of external expectations—that of another or that of society.

What is your technique to express yourself?

Some write, some sing, some draw, some dance, some present, some make love; All should express love.

Feel the freedom when boundaries are removed.
Feel the freedom of self-expression.

Spontaneous moves

spontaneous

How structured is your life?

Is every move planned?
Planned by you, or planned by others?

How spontaneous are you?
Maybe the thought of being spontaneous makes you uneasy or uncomfortable due to the uncertainty of what may happen?

What if your plans are in fact holding you back?
What if the opportunities in life, the opportunities in each day, are best approached by spontaneous actions and trust in knowing that all will be as it needs to be?

What if you could hold a moment, a moment in which you never could have imagined when you woke up that morning.

A view of breathtaking nature,
A beautiful conversation with someone you just met,
A sign from source which places thanks and comfort into your being.

Live life from a place of trust.
Trust and knowing that you are experiencing the life that you are here to lead.

Whispers, Whispers in your ear

signals and whispers

Signs, signals and messages are constantly shared.

Signs and signals which guide you onto your path, or to show recognition of where you are today, are always around you.
Just open yourself to the messages.

Whispers in your ear,
Advanced vision within your eyes,
Clearer recognition of who and what surrounds you,
Energy throughout your being,
A pulse within your hands,
A heightened sense of smell—a recognisable aroma—of comfort.

Each signal, each message is unique—just as you are as an individual.

Take time out for yourself

Time for yourself

When did you last take time out for yourself?

Away from daily tasks?
Away from unnecessary stress?
Away from other people’s problems and worries?
Away from being the support for everyone else, while ignoring your individual needs?

When did you last take the time to sit in silence?
When did you last take a moment with no distractions, no technology, no voice of distraction – but instead be part of pure nature?
Have you ever done this?

To some these words will seem natural, while to others they may seem impossible.

Remember that your soul is unique to you, it will guide you to where you are to be – should you listen.

Identify your personal barrier

Identify your personal barrier

To take a step out of your comfort zone is not a simple task.

It often comes with many layers of complexity that others cannot see,
Only yourself.

A layer of complexity is simply a barrier that one must break down,
It is a barrier which has been placed there with a purpose,
It is a reason that one will either decide to stop or push forward and succeed.

Everyone has personal barriers, and no one is the same.

Ask what one wants to achieve in life.
This is not simple to answer, in fact, it is only the few who can answer this with ease.
Ask what is stopping one from reaching this aim today.

*

Identify your personal barrier.

It is only when a personal barrier has been identified that one starts the process of moving forward, breaking through and removing restrictions.

Breathe – Simply take three deep breaths.

Breathe

Breathe.

What do you do when life feels complex and overbearing?

What do you do when the noise in one’s mind is too much and nothing you do can quieten the surround sound?

What do you do when no one around you understands, when no one has an answer or understands the internal pain and conflict?

What do you do when everyone simply stairs, open-mouthed and no words to share?

What do you do when you feel so alone that the hight of loneliness is felt deepest when surrounded by people?

In this case,

I ask you to breathe.
Breathe.
Simply take three deep breaths.

In a moment of darkness,
In a moment that your head is stuck to a pillow and one’s mind is deep in thought,
Take three deep breaths.

In a moment that no one understands and the internal pain is too much to bear,
Take three deep breaths.

In the moment that a loved one doesn’t have the words you need to hear,
Take three deep breaths.

The importance of letting go

Freedom

What do you need to let go?
What is holding you back from the freedom you deserve?

What is blocking you from life?
From happiness?
From contentment?
From a healthy body?
From a healthy mind?
From a connected soul?

Many minds debate the truth of human behaviour.
Few will argue against ‘learned behaviour’ – for it is true that one is born into this world as an equal to any other.

Through one’s environment, one learns conditions of life – one learns a belief system, one learns judgement, although few learn to question what they know.

Man must also learn that there are layers to one’s life and few identity this as truth.

Although one’s body is present on earth and ages with time, one’s soul is on earth at this time to experience life once-again, just as it has many times before.

One’s soul is pure.
Yes, one’s soul has experienced many lives, one’s soul has much knowledge that one is to build from.

Also, recognise that one’s soul is a source of love, so shall never hold one back. It can’t. It won’t. Although, one’s mind may want to fight with this truth.

If one’s mind can not accept a truth,
If one’s mind places one into a state of anger, frustration or confusion; one has identified a block – a condition, or a belief system in life that is holding one back.

As one’s soul is pure, it is only the mind that can place one’s emotions into a negative state.

Meditation – The Art, The Gift

meditate

There are variant layers of meditation.

A state of meditation can be as simple as closing your eyes, taking several deep breaths and focusing on the moment.

Even if this is just for one minute, it is a start,
It is the beginning of self-awareness, self-control of the mind and an understanding that one is in control of one’s thoughts.

It takes practice.
Practice and patience to gain a true understanding of your possibilities,
To connect to your truth and to connect to the truth of what surrounds you, what guides you: Universal Energy.

Where should one meditate?

Do not place limitations on mental peace.
Do not limit one’s meditation practice.

Meditate in the morning to invite peace and balance into one’s day.

Meditate on the bus, on the train, in the station, on a park bench, on the beach, by the water, in the mountains, in the office, at school, where ever you are.

Meditation is a practice of allowing peace of the mind, allowing a balance to occur and to connect to your surroundings.
